Welcome to our frequently asked questions. Hopefully this faq will help you to better understand our site and how our auctions work. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us at support@blitzbidz.com.

Our registration process is extremely simple. You can register as a buyer with BlitzBidz by clicking on the "Sign Up" link at the top of the home page. Once you register, you will receive a verification email to confirm your email identity. Once you have verified your email, you can begin bidding. You then just find the item you want to bid on, and once the Auction starts, enter an amount in the Place Bid box. You will be prompted to confirm, and that's it! You have just bid!

Please be aware, that your bid is an agreement to purchase.  By bidding, you have committed to purchasing the item at the price you bid if you are the highest bidder. By bidding you have agreed to the Terms and Conditions of the auction. All sales are final. Please use the preview time before the start of an auction to determine your interest in an item.

Each auction item is typically scheduled to end at 9:00 pm. If a bid is placed on any item in the last 3 minutes of the auction, the duration of an auction will be automatically extended to 3 minutes remaining. This could mean that auction would end much later than 9pm.

We allow you to place what is called a proxy bid.  A proxy bid, essentially allows the bidder to win the auction at the lowest amount possible without going higher than the bidder's maximum bid. This allows you to put in your max bid, but won't increase your bid until another bidder bids higher. The proxy bid will automatically increase you bid if another bidder outbids you until your maximum bid is reached.

Every winning item will be charged with a 13% buyer's premium fee. Sales tax is not included in this amount. Sales tax will be charged if there is not a valid reseller's permit on file before the time of purchase.

Yes, absolutely. We strongly encourage prospective bidders to visit us and preview the item before bidding. All items are sold as-is and no refunds will be provided if you are the winning bidder of an item.

Please take note of the auction address on the item you won to determine the pickup location. Once you have won, you will receive an invoice via email. The invoice must be paid in full prior to picking up the item. After paying for an item, you can immediately schedule a pick up time online. We will also confirm the driver's license or state identification of the winning bidder before releasing the item.

BlitzBidz is not able to delete any bids that are placed. All bids are final, and non-retractable. Please inspect the item fully before bidding.

Items MUST be picked up from the auction address within 10 days of the auction close date. Any item left past that date will be considered abandoned and any right to the item will be void. Any payments will NOT be refunded. If you will not be able to remove the item by the end of the 10 day period, please contact us immediately after the auction close date.

We do not provide any shipping and handling services. In some cases we can arrange shipping or delivery of your item at the winning bidder's expense. Any delivery services are additional in cost. The cost of delivery is based on the delivery address. You must contact us for a delivery quote and provide release to ship the item.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. BlitzBidz and its affiliates make no warranties on any items or goods sold through the auction. All items are sold on "as-is". NO REFUNDS, NO RETURNS, NO EXCHANGES WILL BE PROVIDED. PLEASE COME PREVIEW AND INSPECT THE CONDITIONS OF ALL ITEMS PRIOR TO BIDDING.
